Green Economy

Years ago, the economy depended on the use of natural resources but today there is a 'resource crisis', with a threat of shortages and rising prices. Creating a model based on Green Economy is very important because it must enable economic growth without damaging the environment. To achieve such an economic model, better resource management must be performed. Therefore, it is very important nowadays to build the capacities of young people with the necessary skills for a Green Economy. Today, a workforce that has understood its “green” job competencies is required more than ever. Albania is at the forefront of this economy, where no green initiatives and ventures can be identified because there has been little development in this regard.
